Prices for standard embroidered patches
- The prices apply to batch orders for one type of patch. To calculate the price for your patch, find the nearest size category by rounding up. These categories only represent suggested sizes, and the patch can be made in any size you wish. Sizes that fall between categories are rounded up.
- Prices include all costs for creating a patch from the customer's design. There are no additional costs (for example, programming fees). Sample patches are only included in binding purchase orders that cannot be cancelled without incurring further costs. The minimum price equals the price for an order of 50 patches.
- We are happy to offer a quote also for hand-drawn or unfinished designs.
- Please note that for certain orders of a hundred and fifty pieces (for example, 150 and 250 pcs), it's cheaper to choose a slightly larger batch (200 instead of 150 and 300 instead of 250).
- We also offer competitive prices on larger orders than listed here. Request a quote!
Determining patch size
The price calculator automatically calculates the price per patch after you enter the measurements and quantity. The size of a round patch is determined by the diameter. For other shapes, the size depends on the height and width of the design measured from the furthest points.
Round patch
The diameter determines the size of a round patch.
Rectangular and other shapes
An overall patch can be made in any shape. The height and width are measured from the furthest points. The size/price category given by the price calculator indicates the average of height and width: (height + width) / 2.
Tips for designing a patch
1) We recommend ordering the patches well in advance. Making high quality patches takes time, starting from the design creation. Although embroidery machines can be programmed to work in a higher speed to cut production time, quality always comes first for us.
By placing your order well ahead of the deadline, you get the best patches at the best price possible. You can confirm the order quantity after you've approved the sample patch (samples are included if you order a minimum of 50 patches), so you should place the order as soon as the patch design is completed, even if the order quantity cannot be confirmed right away. This allows for more time to perfect the details.
2) It's better to order a few extra patches than not enough. One large order is cheaper than two separate smaller orders. It's worth noting that for certain orders of a hundred and fifty pieces (for example 150 pcs), it is cheaper to choose a slightly larger batch (ordering 200 pcs is cheaper than 150 pcs).
3) Large lettering works best. To make sure your embroidered patch has clear and legible text, the letters should be at least 5–6 mm tall. The best type of font is clear and simple. Normal-sized, sans-serif, bold fonts are better than fonts with thin, tall letters. If your design has small lettering, avoid adding a thin outline of a different colour. If you feel the text doesn't stand out without an outline, it is better to choose contrasting colours for the text and background.
4) Stunning patches are created from simple designs. Even fairly complex designs can be made into embroidered patches, but often the best patches are produced from simple and clear designs. The three-dimensional look of embroidered patches already makes them stand out from printed images. So even with very simple designs, the final result can be impressive.
5) Avoid extremely small details, thin lines and gradients. These elements can be produced, but they do not usually translate well to embroidery. Thin outlines in images and texts should generally be avoided. The standard price includes nine different thread colours.
6) High contrast colours work well with threads and background fabrics. We recommend bright colours on a dark background or dark colours on a bright background. White on a black background should, however, be avoided if possible. Black on white is a slightly better choice. The high contrast combination of white embroidery on a black background can sometimes look a bit rough. Ultimately, it is a matter of personal preference, and producing these types of high contrast patches is possible.
7) If you want a wide merrowed border for your patch, it's best to leave some space for the border. A spacious patch (with or without a border) generally looks better than a cramped design. Especially when designing round patches, avoid adding a separate border or outline near the actual border of the patch. The merrowed border and embroidery are done separately, so the border might not perfectly align with the rest of the design. Separate outlines near the border draw attention to even the tiniest irregularities.
8) The shape of the patch does not affect the price, but a round or rectangular patch is much easier to sew on than for example a laser cut snowflake-shaped patch.
9) If you need help designing your patch, we gladly share our expertise and knowledge. Feel free to ask us for design tips. We have a gallery of our work on our website. We do not produce our customers' patches for others, but the gallery will give you an idea of what works best for an embroidered patch.
10) Patches are about fun and positivity. Put our experience to the test, and let's design a one-of-a-kind patch together!
Options and colours
• The price includes up to nine different embroidery thread colours. Each additional colour increases the unit price by 0,05€.
• The price includes a thin black or white fleece fabric which covers the stitching on the back. You can also choose a PVC vinyl back without an additional cost. Large patches always come with a PVC vinyl back.
• The price includes either a merrowed border or a laser cut border.
Colours
We recommend letting us choose the colours for your patch: we'll pick the best suited thread and background fabric colours based on your design. Please note that you cannot perfectly match colours from a computer monitor, because colours appear different on different monitors and might not match the colours on fabric/thread.
If you want a specific colour, you can submit a physical colour sample (for example, a patch or a printed logo) to help us find the right colours for the background material and threads. We offer over 200 different background material colours and over 400 different thread colours.
Customers familiar with the Pantone color matching system (PMS) can help us match colours by giving us Pantone numbers. We use Pantone Solid Color System: Pantone Solid Coated (for example 123 C) and Pantone Solid Uncoated (for example PMS 123 U). The Pantone equivalents for thread colours are determined at a 45 degree viewing angle in colour temperature of 4100K (Kelvin).
Please note that Pantone colours should not be matched from a computer monitor. They are designed to be viewed from a physical colour chart, and are typically best suited for company logos and other printed promotional material.
Special options

• Stick-on adhesive backing: add €0.04 x size category number.

• Metallic embroidery thread: (gold, silver, copper/bronze, red, blue, green, grey) adds 10–45% to unit price.

• We also have access to several other customization options. Tell us what you have in mind, and we'll try our best to make it happen. Ask for a custom quote.
• Matching thread for sewing patches on garment. You can add to your order 5,000 metres of sewing thread in an unopened spool in a colour that matches your patch. Our special price is €10 per spool (including VAT 25.5%).
The prices above are examples of typical orders. The price of special materials can vary significantly depending on the configuration. We are happy to give you a custom quote for your specific design.
Sending your design
We prefer a digital design (in the most common image file formats, such as .jpg, .gif, .tif, .png), which you can submit either with your quote request or by email. The design for an embroidered patch doesn't need to be print-ready as long as the details are visible.
You can also mail us a physical design: a patch, printed image or sketch.
Reordering
We save all previous order information, so reordering is easy at any point. The fastest way to find a previous order is to send us the sample patch image you received from us. Please do not rename the file.
We are able to make small changes to your previous patch (for example, changing the year or background fabric colour) without a new reference image.
We do not charge a starting or programming fee, so the price is always the same, also for reorders. The embroidery machines are reprogrammed for each order, and the price depends only on the quantity produced for a given batch.
High quality
We want to offer the best patches possible, and quality always comes first for us. We determine the perfect patch configuration for each customer and recommend the customization options which guarantee the most detailed, high-quality result.

Delivery time
We will send a sample image of the finished patch for your approval roughly one week from order confirmation. The complete order delivery time, including the approval of the sample image, ranges from 3 to 5 weeks. This schedule naturally requires receiving approval for the sample within a reasonable time frame.
For an additional fee (and taking into account our current order status), every order has the option of super express delivery (delivery time 1–2 weeks, as per agreement).
The standard delivery guarantees delivery within 3–5 weeks. Five weeks is the maximum delivery time, which allows for any possible delays and last minute changes. If there is a set, non-negotiable deadline for the delivery, please inform us as you place your order.
If, for instance, you need the patches delivered exactly within three weeks, for an additional fee you can opt for super express delivery, which guarantees delivery at a specific date of your choosing.
A negotiable date of delivery, on the other hand, provides our production and scheduling with more flexibility. The standard delivery has competitive pricing that follows the normal rates.
Delivery options
You may choose to collect your delivery at a Posti outlet or Parcel Point or have it delivered to your address. Detailed descriptions of the delivery options can be found below. The default option for shipping and collecting the delivery is Posti Economy, unless the customer specifies otherwise.

We only use domestically produced packages made from recycled materials in our deliveries.
In addition to the standard Posti delivery options you may opt for Home Parcel delivery, which costs €19,97 (incl. VAT 24%). Posti will contact you and agree on a specific date and time before delivery. If needed, you may also opt for Posti Express Parcel morning delivery, which costs €35,97 (incl. VAT 24%).
